Actinobacteria are preferentially enriched in and discriminate between elite genotypes and wild barley genotypes adapted to desert environments. Individual external nodes of the tree represent one of the OTUs enriched in the rhizosphere of elite genotypes compared to either (or both) rhizosphere samples desert areas (Wald test, P value < 0.05, FDR corrected). The colours reflect OTUs’ taxonomic affiliation at Phylum level.
